Market Square and River Garden

I’m sitting in the garden, right by the market square. Where the illuminated, half-timbered houses stand and where they have those nice cafés now. Exactly, by the river bank. There’s a garden now that’s made up of the river. Ever seen anything like that? No? So come to the Lamme garden in Bad Salzdetfurth! You may have heard of it as a spa town.

You can come in any shoes, because the natural stone pavement in the market square isn’t only beautiful but also foot-friendly, like a carpet. And it’ll lead you right down to the river. It’s true, there used to be nothing but road here, and now I’m sitting in the café with a view of the garden made of glistening water.
