End of the Semester at POLA
This semester, POLA was involved in teaching at three universities in Berlin: David Kaufmann at the Technical University of Berlin, Karsten Meyer at the Berlin University of the Arts, and Matthias Schmidt at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology.
The range of subjects reflected the diversity of our team, spanning from the Advanced Landscape Architecture Design Studio at the Department of Landscape Construction and Site Engineering to Urban Design and Urban Regeneration, as well as Design and Representation II at the Department of Design and Representation.
For us, teaching is about much more than simply sharing knowledge. It is an opportunity to support the next generation of designers and planners, gain fresh perspectives, and bring valuable insights from academia into our everyday practice. We are delighted and proud to share our professional experience with students and to actively foster the exchange between academic education and professional practice.
