Groundbreaking Ceremony in California: A Big Step into the Future

Just in time for the holiday season, the starting signal was given for the redevelopment of the central town center in California, a district of the municipality of Schönberg in Schleswig-Holstein. By summer 2026, POLA Landscape Architects' design will be implemented in several phases over an area of approximately 
9,250 m². The transformation will bring fresh energy to the charming coastal village, turning it into a modern seaside destination – with a traffic-calmed inner promenade, artificial dunes integrated into the streetscape, and a six-meter-high stele as a new landmark.
